About Hickory
All Fireside Lodge Hickory Furniture is handcrafted from sustainably harvested American hickory, prized for its exceptional strength, durability, and distinctive character. Each log is carefully kiln-dried to reduce moisture and preserve its natural beauty, resulting in furniture that's built to last for generations.
Hickory is known for its dramatic color variation, ranging from light blonde and caramel tones to rich coffee browns, along with bold grain patterns, knots, and natural bark accents. No two pieces are exactly alike, making every item a one-of-a-kind statement of rustic craftsmanship.
You can choose from two unique looks: Classic Hickory, which retains most of the natural bark, or Refined Hickory, where the bark is removed to highlight the wood's striking grain and texture. Dimensions may vary slightly due to the natural character of the logs.

About Natural Lichen
Some pieces of our bark-on hickory furniture may feature light-colored patches or speckles on the bark. These are naturally occurring lichen that grew on the tree before it was harvested and are a hallmark of authentic hickory log furniture.
The lichen is completely natural, permanently sealed beneath the protective finish, and will not affect the durability or performance of your furniture. Like the bark, knots, and grain variations, it adds to the unique character that makes every piece one of a kind. These natural variations are expected, celebrated, and are never considered defects.
Returns
Returns in original, brand new condition are accepted. The purchase price, less original shipping/handling costs and a 20% restocking fee, will be refunded. Notification to Western Passion must be made within 5 days of receipt to obtain a return authorization number. Product must be adequately packed and insured prior to shipping. Customer is responsible for the product and its safe return until received by the manufacturer.
Delivery Information
1. You must be present at the time of delivery.
2. Open and inspect the goods while the freight carrier is on site to identify concealed damage.
3. Do not sign the Bill of Lading until you have inspected for damage. If damaged, refuse delivery and do not sign.
4. Once the Bill of Lading is signed, the manufacturer and Western Passion are not responsible for freight damages; claims must be filed with the carrier.
5. Made in the USA. Typical production lead time: 4–6 weeks.
