About Circle-Sawn Pine

All Fireside Lodge WoodShop Furniture is crafted from locally sourced circle-sawn pine, chosen for its rustic character and distinctive texture. The circle-sawing process leaves visible saw marks in the wood, giving each piece a naturally rugged, one-of-a-kind appearance.

Pine naturally varies in color, grain, knots, and texture, and the circle-sawn surface creates even more variation from piece to piece. These differences are expected and are part of the character of authentic wood furniture. Dimensions may vary slightly due to the natural character of the wood.

The pine is harvested locally in Northern Minnesota and kiln-dried to the proper moisture content before being crafted into furniture. Fireside Lodge uses low-VOC, non-toxic stains and finishes, with a variety of stain and hardware options available throughout the WoodShop Collection.

Please note: Wood grain, saw marks, knots, texture, and stain absorption will vary naturally, so no two pieces will look exactly alike.

Large furniture is typically delivered by appointment using a furniture or specialized delivery carrier. Delivery method and service level may vary by item and destination.

Please inspect your order at delivery. If any damage is visible, note it on the delivery receipt before signing and take photos of the item and packaging. Do not sign as received in good condition if damage is present. This documentation helps Western Passion work with the carrier to resolve any claim.
